All these types of support can be bundled together into a tailored Managed Service*, where the monthly fee is determined by the size and complexity of your site and the level of support you require.

*Managed Service is a priority business service provided by Computer Aid that enables us to give you peace of mind, cater for your needs and keep costs within a manageable budget.

Desktop and Laptop PC Service, Repair and Advice

Computer Aid has a purpose built building that houses our workshop where we can service, repair and offer advice for your desktop PC.

This includes software/hardware upgrades, virus check/removal, desktop PC rebuilds, email configuration/setup, cloud service(s) setup, printer connection/setup and computer refurbishment and almost any other technology challenge you can come up with.

Computer Aid are well aware that viruses and malware can be a real problem for our customers and that is why we run (depending on your issue) at least 3 removal programs on your computer and then again upon any detection(s). We also make sure that your antivirus software is updated, your firewall is operating and that all Microsoft and Windows critical/security updates have been installed to ensure continued protection.

If your desktop PC fails, often the data is still stored and available on your machine. Computer Aid can transfer your data to either another computer or onto an external hard disk drive, memory stick/flash drive, CD, DVD, etc. If the computer hard disk drive is damaged and the data needs to be recovered we can perform a first level recovery. If that is unsuccessful we can use our specialised data recovery partner to get as much data back as possible.
